@Add_Bras The more I look into working in pro sports, the more I learn it just might not be for me. The pros just don’t outweigh the cons (pun intended)
@kkristtenn I’m fairly certain neuro ICU nurses make mistakes as well. Just because you feel you have seen what you consider “so many” mistakes by chiro’s doesn’t mean you can make generalizations about the profession. They do, in fact, hold a doctorate level degree and many do great work.
I don’t know who needs to hear this but, it was on my mind heavy today.
1. You’re not too good to play JUCO.
2. When you’re picking a college make sure you go somewhere you’re valued and wants you there.
People work harder for people they know care about them. 🙏🏽
Coaches will reject science, tech and analytics just because everyone else is embracing it.
These coaches are gatekeepers trying to say “only I can teach these things.”
Tech will democratize the information and secrets our industry has relied on.
@dhayes422 Coming from a guy who struggled with PFP’s in college I can’t explain how helpful this is. As a pitcher, you become so focused on throwing from one slot/one posture that you’ll start to lose your feel from different angles. Footwork is is important but athleticism > footwork imo
Camron's a true freshman who's been up to 89 this Fall. He's a hard-working, highly competitive player who is just starting to tap into his potential. Really exciting player!
So... Michael Gupton ('22 NC) is incredibly fast. I'm waiting for the official 60s to be posted but man--shot out of a cannon. @NCStateBaseball commit.

If the NCAA was truly looking out for the best interest of the players they wouldn’t allow this. Players in contact with thousands of potentially untested fans is worse than 35-40 players/staff together in a dugout? The so called “protocols” are absolute BS.
Honestly no idea. One would think if you have to test fully vaccinated players in close contact with players who tested positive Vanderbilt would be in question too.
Also wonder if these fans will be tested so there’s no positive cases in the crowd.
@low_and_outside@O3jfrye I do see your view point and value the insight. But I just think that it’s important for people to do their research and understand what truly correlates to improving a pitchers velocity, capacity, and overall performance. We can’t just do things the old way “just because”
I bet @O3jfrye is the kinda guy that would make his pitchers run miles at a time to “improve endurance.” Baseball and training is evolving. Time to adapt or you will get left behind. Also, this team is 33-8 on the season. Obviously doing something right.
@low_and_outside@O3jfrye Long runs probably won’t make you “feel strong.” Causes your body to become catabolic, burning calories, therefore making you actually less strong. Also would argue that running long distance has no correlation with fielding your position. PFP work is valuable though.
