NYC’s Migrant Encampment at Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn will close by January 15, 2025!

We rallied, protested, passed legislation in the House to end the lease and filed a joint lawsuit with @JoannAriola32 and Assemblywoman Jaime Williams…In the end it was the power of the people who voiced their opposition at the ballot box and elected President Trump and a Republican Congress that sent a clear message and made this happen.

Congratulations to Fran Vella-Marrone who was selected as the honoree of the evening. Fran has dedicated 40 years as a civic leader in our community and has always been a dear friend to me. She is an individual who helps everyone around her and always seeks to preserve the warmth and spirit of Dyker Heights.
