I’d like to address how Istanbul Festivali was a mess. I hope my words won’t be twisted or misinterpreted.

- The safety was definitely not the festival’s priority, which is a shame. The organization was poor and dangerous. The organizers didn’t seem prepared to handle 60,000 people, starting with the queue: everyone was queuing in the same place, which is completely illogical. VIP, standing priority, and general admission should have been separated, with each category having its own entrance. The lack of this basic organization caused a huge crowd surge. We couldn’t breathe or move properly during 3 hours because everyone was pushing each other. People had panic attacks and some even started to fight. When we entered the staff didn’t open the 3 gates but they only opened ONE which is ridiculous cause people obviously started to push hard to be the first to enter into the festival, once again it caused a HUGE crowd surge and security guards even started to push back people which caused people falling to the ground. We literally almost died in there, remember that people can die because of crowd surge and heat.

- Arriving to the VIP gate, there were only 2 staffs putting wristbands on us which is [once again] ridiculous considering the amount of people we were. On the barricade the stage was HIGH and the barricades were way too close to the stage, this led to us not being able to see ateez 😂

- Water was no provided by security for people on barricade since there were stands who were selling it. But how were we ,vips, supposed to get water when there are 400-500 people behind us ? and there was also a limit of bottle per persons when you were buying at stand.

- During the show, all the TV, journalists and more were BLOCKING our view cause they needed to do their work obviously no problem with that, but it was due to the stage being too HIGH, even them were struggling to do their jobs. But also its unfair to get the view blocked by people when everyone there spent a LOT of money on this festival.

- The promised show was not due. There was a full 1 hour performance promised and promoted by the organizers. It was so disappointing to see that ATEEZ did only 10 songs which is 30 minutes. Why ? Because all the time they were talking with the MC, doing endless and unnecessary ments. This is so disappointing and disrespectful towards ATEEZ who traveled 12 hours for only 30 minutes of show, considering how busy and tired they are (hongjoong having fractured ribs) but its also disrespectful towards Turkish Atiny who waited 8 years for ateez to come in their country and once again who spent a lot of money of this festival.

- im not even going to address the amount of racism foreigners were faced to. Even turkish people from other countries were victims of racism and even some islamophobia from the security.

- During the waiting time, only 2 songs of ateez were used, during the dance contest only 1 group danced on ATEEZ, and during the DJ time ateez was played only once. To me this sounded also disrespectful towards ateez. This is a personal thought that i still wanted to shared.

This festival wasn’t a good experience at all. Ateez still managed to do well, its always a pleasure to see them, but it was hard to enjoy when all of that i cited above happened.
