At LFHC have a wonderful team of 84 nurses who work around the clock to provide compassionate care to the children in the hospital. They are caring, eager to learn, and motivated to treat each child as if they were their own.

This message is at the core of everything we do at Lao Friends Hospital for Children. We provide free healthcare to over 40,000 children annually. No child is EVER turned away.

At LFHC, we provide the only free development clinic in the entire country. This clinic receives any children with autism and is a safe space for our team to provide advice and support. 💚

💜💚 World Epilepsy Day 💚💜

An estimated 50,000 in Laos have Epilepsy, but only 20,000 have access to regular treatment.

LFHC is home to the only free dedicated Epilepsy Clinic in Northern Laos. The clinic provides vital monitoring and treatment to patients every week.

💚 World Down Syndrome Day 💚

LFHC provides the only free development clinic in Laos. This clinic offers treatment and support to children with a variety of developmental delays, Down syndrome, autism, and cerebral palsy. 💚

Lao Friends Hospital for Children provided treatment to over 600 babies in its neonatal unit. 👶💚

Often these newborns were referred from surrounding district and provincial hospitals to receive the high standard of free healthcare LFHC's neonatal unit provides. 🏥 🇱🇦

💚 World Kidney Day 💚

Lao Friends Hospital for Children is home to the only free Nephrology Clinic in Northern Laos. This clinic provides vital support to children with kidney-based diseases such as nephrotic syndrome.
