This part always makes me laugh so hard.. Ian's confidence, the repetitive I know, that sultry & malicious smile krkrkrkr
Oh Ian my boy, you know nothing.. 😅🤧
TJ was right! Once Ian crossed that line, there was no going back from loving him..
looking for some paperwork for the bar, taejoon casually opens the drawer and finds a photo.
that photo.
he gently runs his thumb over it.
back when he chose to let youngwoo go and back when he spent two years in prison, that photo was all he had left of him. somewhere along the way, he'd forgotten he even still had it.
"what are you doing?" youngwoo's voice suddenly breaks the silence as he walks out of the bedroom, absentmindedly munching on a snack.
taejoon's heart skips a beat. he immediately hides the photo behind his back.
"it's nothing" he replies as calmly as he can.
youngwoo raises an eyebrow.
"what are you hiding?" he asks, trying to peek behind taejoon's back.
"i said nothing. don't you have to take the trash out?"
shit.
"yeah, but let me see what you're hiding first"
youngwoo reaches for whatever taejoon is trying so desperately to keep out of sight. they end up in a brief, playful fight until youngwoo finally snatches the photo from his husband's hand.
the moment he sees it, he freezes.
it's him.
a little younger. not by much, really. six years ago? maybe seven. the photo of him smoking on the balcony. he had no idea Taejoon had kept something like this all these years.
"give it back!"
"what a hopeless romantic" youngwoo teases, waving the photo in the air with a smug grin.
"shin youngwoo, you little—"
the fight continues until they both tumble onto the bed in a mess of laughter. youngwoo looks down at his husband, a soft smile slowly spreading across his face.
"you're ridiculously romantic"
for a moment, neither of them says anything, then youngwoo gently brushes his fingers over taejoon's faded scar.
"that's why i love you, you sappy loser"
taejoon smiles back before leaning in to press a soft kiss to youngwoo's lips, one arm wrapping around his waist as if to make sure he'll never let him go again.
"it's just a photo", he had told himself years ago. but now, they're married.
