@LNhistorian obv it‘s peak because of the content it adapts, however i think that the leakers were overreacting abit. anime onlies will definitely love the episode and maybe even put it as their no. 1 but overall i think the direction could‘ve been much better.

@RegularGuy101YT @rezero_ice subaru is my t1 in all of fiction, this arc is my t1 in fiction and this episode adapts 2 of my favorite moments in fiction 😭 i js think the anime could’ve adapted it better

@rezero_ice i js imagined it way better in my head when i read it in the novel and i liked the fan animation way more. i didn‘t really like the new version of stay alive, and they could‘ve used much better angles, better lighting and so on like they did in ep 18

@rezero_ice i don‘t wanna be a doomer and i really loved the episode but for me it‘s not even top 3 in rezero. content wise it‘s definitely the strongest and it adapts some of my favorite moments in fiction but direction wise it could‘ve been so SO much better.

@Rozemyne16 @JanchoRZ it‘s literally not a standout scene 😭 it wasn‘t in the novel and it shouldn‘t be in the anime. the scene is insanely overhyped and from what the leakers are saying it sounds like an incredible adaptation

@JanchoRZ this is my 2nd favorite ep of the season so far. i really liked the consistency in the art style, the character acting and the interactions. it also had that s2 mystery feel to it and had a great introduction at the end.
