the one day you will need to make duaa for yourself, you won't be able to - when you die. you'll be at the mercy of others remembering to make dua for you. so send duaas forth for that day. invest in the future you know for sure will meet you. heavy days await. lighten them here
Ibn al-Qayyim
"The prayer is the greatest help for attaining the benefits of the worldly life and the hereafter.
Likewise, it is the greatest help in repelling the harms of the worldly life and the hereafter."
[Zād Al-Ma'ād 4/209]
Shaykh al-Islām Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله on Istighfār:
“Whenever I become hesitant or confused about an issue, I seek Allah’s forgiveness a thousand times, or more, or even less until He opens my chest and resolves the matter that confused me.
Even if I am in a marketplace, a masjid, a mountain pass, or a school, nothing prevents me from remembering Allah and seeking His forgiveness, until I achieve what I seek.”
[Majmū‘ al-Fatāwā, vol. 11, pg. 5 | Dār Kutub al-‘Ilmiyyah]
Tip: write down all the things you'd want to do better next ramadan, bi idnillah, while it's still fresh in your mind. e.g. managing your time, avoiding things that drain or trigger, tools, food/supplements to support you, saving up money for sadaqa in ramadan, qur'aan routines
Ibn Rajab:
“Some of the Salaf would ask Allāh for everything, even when they needed salt for dough and grass for the sheep.”

‘Zoom out’ and Be grateful for the uncountable blessings Allah has bestowed upon us and He shall surely increase them. {Ibrahim 7 & 34}
