@ChefAlliSosna@WCKitchen Beans, other veggies (eg seasonal squash, peppers, carrots), whole grains. I like it simmered in tomato sauce but that’s optional.
@KLM do you still have your policy that a negative rapid COVID test is required within 4 hours of departure time? Does it matter if you’re vaccinated? I had a rude surprise when I flew KLM in February and I’m trying to prevent that.
Congratulations to Eric Adams, the first plant-based Brooklyn Borough President and next mayor of NYC!!! Here’s to better health for all! 🥦@ericadamsfornyc
With Eric Adams the apparent winner in the NYC mayoral race, here's a flashback on how eating plant-based saved his eyesight--and his life. He said it'll be a priority as mayor to help students and New Yorkers overall eat healthier, too! https://t.co/PuLiNemTgc
@lyft thanks for the no show this morning!! #airport ride scheduled 8 hours in advance. #nocar even after the pickup window had elapsed. Now I have to find another way to get to the airport and hopefully not be #late#notreliable
@CarriageCavalry@SarmacChick@ericadamsfornyc Growing brains need protein and healthy fats. Animal products do not provide healthy fats. The leanest proteins are pulses (aka beans and lentils)
Honored to have worked with @ericadamsfornyc to improve healthy eating in nyc schools. Excited he could be our next mayor - counting on all those who CAN vote to make the right choice.
Solid media week for @ericadamsfornyc; first his op-ed in @WSJ, then @nytimes on the Diaz endorsement, then great @NYMag piece & @Gothamist / @THECITYNY on policing. Love seeing his message get out there! He's not new to this, he's true to this. June 22 - right around the corner.
NOW's the time for Albany and DC to take on the "sickness industry" and invest in preventive medicine. New Yorkers with chronic diseases, predominantly Black and Brown, are dying from a lack of access to quality plant-based nutrition. I could've died too. https://t.co/qjwbiAzaQa
@NYPDAsianHCTF I heard NYPD Anti-Asian Hate Crimes Investigation Task team had a call on 3/10. Participants were maxed out. How do we learn about what happened on the call?
