In ons omgang met die Afrikaan se wereldbeskouing probeer ons, ons eie denkwyse gebruik om te verstaan en te akkomodeer en daarom is moedswilligheid vir ons 'n moeilike konsep om te begryp. Ek dink ook ons is naief in ons denke. Ons het nie 'n idee wat hy al ooreengekom het met leiers en lande en in hoe 'n mate hy hulle agenda uitvoer nie. Die vrotheid is heel dieper as wat ons besef. We have a long view. Hating us have the opposite effect than expected. Moreover, we are worried about those that are not saved. True Christians are beheaded and burned at the stake, they refuse to give up their faith because the truth of who Jesus is and what that implies is so precious to them. There is a parable about it - the treasure and the pearl. Once discovered they sold everything they had to take possesion if it. It is a spiritual treasure for your soul. The rest is all temporary in a temporary world. Part of that treasure is a guilt free conscience and peace with God.

I was not insulting to you. Or aggressive. You became upset and personal. I focused on the questions at hand and answered them with compelling evidence.. You used Grok as a weapon against me, not your own critical thinking. AI posts a reclaimer itself all the time - double check because it can be wrong. With respect, how you go about defending your unbelief appears more dangerous to me. Think about that. The topic at hand is in essence a reveal of the condition of one's heart. Is it hate or revenge driving one ot love, understanding and forgiveness (Christian virtues)? Apologetics has it's place but the real test comes when you look at character and way op being of a person. The topic is very much about absolute truth too. Because if you are wrong, it is a disaster, if I am wrong, I have lived life as a follower of Jesus following His example of washing feet and turning the other cheek. I am worried, because you are the one in danger.

Paul was also well educated but he killed Christians. I came to Christ at the age of 4. My father has a doctorate in Theological studies. I grew up in a home where we were exposed to the archeological realities of Christianity with many books, discussions, studies and people of faith moving through our doors. I also studied law, I am a qualified lawyer and know the law of evidence inside out. I searced high and low for truth, comparitive religions, quantum physics, alternative medicines, philosophy, psychology undergraduate and I can state without a doubt that God exists, that Jesus existed, that the resurrection - the heart of the gospel - is indeed true, that all studies eventually come to the same place of awe that nothing contradicts the Word of God and that the paradoxes in the Bible are possible to live with when you accept that the mind of a created being will never be able to understand the Creator fully.

The theme of God being satisfied by blood to avert His wrath on disobedience is a theme running from start to finnish. In the Old Testament only the High Priest could enter God's presence to sprinkle blood for atonement. It was a symbol of Jesus who could offer His blood to God as atonement for the sins of those who believe in who He said He is. We cannot do anything to please God, we are justified and all our sins are blotted out on the presentation of Jesus's blood. Christianity is the only religion where you are saved without your own effort. In other religions YOU must reach enlightenment, kill infadels, be good etc Jesus did it all. You must just accept it and take up your cross, meaning crucify your own selfish desires and follow His teachings. He washed feet. He put relationships first. He revered God. He called out hypocrisy. His teachings on the mountain is radical and life changing. It gives life meaning. God is paradoxical, I know, but you trying to understand and question Him will not change Him. He is what He is. The question is, who are you?
