It’s my sister’s 26th wedding anniversary today ☺️. It certainly makes me feel old. They were married here and my parents also & I was christened here too. Christ Church, Cooperstown, NY erected c1807. Cooper heirs buried on grounds.
@3c3p3d@GettingCooked Didn’t most of those bits showcased get sourced (like every exotic maker) from outside of Lamborghini? No chance in hell they made in-house, for example, rocker switches for the power windows.
@Mpolymer What is this crazy train nonsense?
“Kennedy said in a subsequent statement that Ratcliffe, former Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard and acting Director of National Intelligence Bill Pulte “are doing the Lord’s work.”
@larrycollmus@RubenFanDuelTV Dave wonderfully called the truly magnificent (& tough as they get) John Henry’s final career start! Stakes race at the now seemingly ancient 9yrs old Oct 13, 1984 - tied the track record 'The old man, John Henry, takes command!': ❤️👏🏇 https://t.co/nE05HliwNV
From this spring (2026) the Pablo Picasso 50-foot, untitled cubist sculpture in Chicago’s Daley Plaza. Dedicated in 1967 and purportedly based upon his Afghan Hound - Kabul. My first job in Chicago was at Andersen Worldwide, S.C. (69 W Washington) seen here & looked down upon it.
Lincoln Park (Chicago) - “The Cobden” completed 1892. 418-424 W. Belden Avenue. This Richardsonian-Romanesque style with commercial on ground floor (Dunkin) & residential above is by architect Charles Sumner Frost (1856 –1931) of the firm Cobb and Frost. Such detail!
@Mpolymer Exceedingly so. When is this quip even the slightest bit amusing? I struggle to see making such remarks being helpful in any setting. Not even in the Trump circlejerk praises around the table meetings would this earn points.
@3c3p3d@dunbar422 And Tim might be on the cost effective range. ~15hrs at $200hr is an earmark yardstick for an experienced Ferrari indy shop ($3k) The "while you're in there" fixes are common and why not? Postponing a fix never gets cheaper.
@dunbar422@3c3p3d I'm sure. On a 308 you can access the timing belt through the wheel well. Specifically via the rear right-hand wheel arch and removing the access panel.
@mollyfleck@SheffieldSNA It used to be Christy Webber Landscape (for several years) & I recall another company last year but the name escapes me. Seems odd with DePaul U graduation next week (typically a spruced up vibe) & these sponsored yet derelict boxes everywhere
@dunbar422@3c3p3d No engine out for 308 with belt changes every 5-6yrs, but this example almost certainly needs a through review. Potentially dried up rubber bits et al.
