I'm trying really hard to ignore this observation so I can enjoy this final book in the series, but really... how is such a big thing missed?
(Hoping this rant purges this brain squirrel so I can just... y'know... read?
Generally, I like to read series (vs standalone) in the historical romance genre because I enjoy seeing characters again and watching the stories weave together a bit. Unfortunately, it sometimes leads to catching continuity errors that the author and editors missed.
My most recent discovery involves the resurrection of a previously quite dead duchess from Eloisa James "A Duke of Her Own" that not only is a substantial character nearly two decades later in "Seven Minutes in Heaven" but is part of the central plot line as a villianess of sorts
I'm back on my Untidy Joseph BS!
Post SGB treatment, I still can't tolerate garlic or canned tomato (among other things) so I made pasta sauce from scratch tonight using fresh tomatoes. There were leftovers so... midnight meal!
Homemade meat sauce on toasted(!) Artesano bread
@bekitoburrito A. Sorry! I just saw this!
B. I didn't even know. It's because I set it in the dish drainer to dry, isn't it?
C. I give the best gifts, so unfortunately they didn't even try πππ
Quick #parosmia update: After getting more information, I had the SGB treatment on right side today. There was immediate improvement (ate a burger & enjoyed it!) but several hard no (garlic, chicken, coke) means I need other side done. Going back in tomorrow.
I love painting with my sister and appreciating our different styles!
Here's an updated image of mine with natural light (warm light on a winter night was apparently quite yellow)
I don't know what I expected, but @psynister picked this up for me to try. Amazingly, even with parosmia, it tastes like peppermint. Which is both weird and good.

Remember this? It's apparently not my spine, but inflammation of my right SI joint (the joint that connects hip to spine).
Because all those safety meetings drilled "bend with hips, not back" into me (which is absolutely π― true) so of course that's what I did.
Hurts like hell
