how to scale a faceless youtube channel to +$10k/pm from scratch:

phase 1: find a niche where the math works

forget "what am i passionate about." start with "where do advertisers spend money?"

your rpm (revenue per thousand views) is determined by your audience. if your audience is broke teenagers, your rpm will be $2-3. if your audience is finance professionals or luxury buyers, your rpm will be $12-18

a channel getting 200,000 views/month at $15 RPM makes $3,000. a channel getting 200,000 views/month at $3 RPM makes $600. exact same views. 5x difference in revenue

pick a niche with a minimum $8 RPM floor. anything less and you're working 5x harder for the same money

then validate demand. find 3-5 small channels (under 50k subs) in that niche consistently getting more views than their subscriber count. that's the signal for high demand, low supply

phase 2: nail the script system

your first 5 videos are a test. you're not trying to go viral. you're trying to see if youtube's algorithm wants to push your content

if you're getting impressions and decent click-through rates within the first 3-5 videos, the algorithm likes your niche and packaging. if you're getting nothing, pivot before you waste 3 months

once you know the algorithm is interested, the script becomes everything

the first 50 formula: pattern interrupt + specific proof + open loop in the first 50 words (roughly 20 seconds of spoken content). this alone can double your retention

curiosity gap chaining: every time you deliver a mini payoff, immediately open the next gap within 10 seconds. the viewer should never have a moment to think "i'm done here"

context-action ratio: 30 seconds of context, 60 seconds of action or examples. never stack context without action. the moment you lecture, retention drops

strategic foreshadowing: mention your grand payoff at least 3 times throughout the video. this keeps the viewer psychologically committed to watching until the end

phase 3: optimize the economics

your cost per video should be under $150 max. editing: $50-100 on upwork. voiceover: AI ($20/month tools). script: the most important investment you'll make. thumbnails: AI-assisted or $10-20 on fiverr

at $8+ RPM and 100k+ views per video, you're looking at $800+ per video in revenue. that's 5-8x ROI on every upload

phase 4: scale horizontally

once one channel is working, don't just post more on that channel. build a second channel in a sub-niche of the same space

you can leverage the audience from channel 1 via end screens, collaborator channels and playlists. this compounds views across both channels

the creators doing +$10k-$50k/month are running 2-4 channels in related niches. each channel has 1-2 editors. the scripts are all produced through the same system. operational cost stays low while revenue stacks
