@sstoneb I define it every time, as in "what the book calls the centripetal force, is the net force on an object moving in a circular path' and spend a few explaining why we discard centrifugal. Then when anybody uses the "F" word I say, are you working a rotating ref frame?

@PhysicsHigh I used to do this without the oil, on a clear write-on transparency on the overhead projector. Grass seeds flew all over, but it was fun.

I was interested in this paper: "Absence of a COVID-induced academic drop in high-school physics learning" until I realized the research subjects were Stanford U students. Well, duh, my best students didn't drop much, either. #iteachphysics
