@karonliu actually, they can be eaten when v.small - less than 1.5in long, but have to be properly cooked. I know this because 1. Forager Chef on IG says so 2. I didn't properly heed the blanching part and vomited violently. I did however cook the flower buds to delicious effect.

@Rick_Bayless Where is culantro used in Mexico? I never encountered, though I knew of it and had bought in West Indian market in Toronto as shado beni Had 2 other cilantro tasting leaves though. One In Morelos looked like tiny lilypads, another in Oaxaca was referred to as cilantro de montaña.

@wp_SMAMX @Rick_Bayless If you're in SMA, you won't find these herbs unless someone brings them in - very regional. Pipicha (chepiche) is traditionally used on tlayudas in Oaxaca, papalo on cemitas (sandwich)in Puebla. I've seen it also with tacos but not in SMA. Both help digestion of rich meats.

@CBCIsmaila thanks for covering this. Among the many reasons the city needs to do something are the damaging effects of persistent noise on mental health. We have lots of ideas on what kind of (practical)actions we'd take (here in my house)if we had the power to do so.
