@sunrosejasmine Funny how they never say this about someone like Rhaella who, by all accounts, did her duty and was cheated on + harmed by her husband. It’s completely tasteless to call characters “tradwives” simply for being victims of patriarchy, especially in the name of a ship war
putting the word out... just suggesting... that if you hate literally everything about hbo's house of the dragon and watching it makes you one note furious and miserable and you hate everyone involved in production and think they're evil etc... then you don't have to watch it
Honestly yes but also no fictional character is worth doing all that. Sending death and rape threats, making second accounts to “infiltrate” certain parts of the fandom, being misogynistic, racist etc over fiction is just crazy like please get a fucking grip and touch some grass
@MinaJen3 Especially when fans uncritically engage with rhetoric that plays a role in real life grooming like convincing the victim that she’s special, not like other girls, mature for her age…
Ppl understand that DanyDrogo was grooming and not romantic nor consensual just bc GRRM says so… That JaeAly was toxic even though GRRM calls it a love story… That his fav characters are Tyrion and Daemon… but brains break when that logic is applied to a certain ship + man
-intentioned. by me saying “capture rhaelya” i do not mean their love or the ship or even the rhaegar or lyanna. english is not my first language and i simply meant that i wanted it to come across that that is rhaegar with the winter roses for lyanna in art where they are-
“elia vs lyanna” “arya vs sansa” “dany vs sansa” “cersei vs brienne” why don’t we do this with the male characters? i know why but i want everyone to use critical thinking
i don’t think ppl should be qrting an artist dunking on their art instead of giving attention to the loads of amazing beautiful art for this character week tbh
