Every time a leader, a business figure, a Congressman, a voter, a political group, or a consumer advocacy organization, backs off from loudly opposing Trump, his power increases. When there are no more dissidents, his power will be complete.
@TheRickWilson As a Representative for the American taxpayer you have a lot of work to do to raise their economy to the level that can meet that demand.
@JRubinBlogger If the Senate approves RFK Jr and Mehmet Oz, I can imagine a future when people of modest wealth will be going to Canada for their surgery, medical care, abortions, and medications. Or people less wealthy going to Mexico or offshore hospital ships. US MDs may eventually follow.
@tribelaw It has become apparent that Trump’s nominations and appointments tend to favor unethical, immoral, prejudiced, and corrupt crackpots. They are the only ones who are willing to do his bidding.

@TheRickWilson It is phenomenal to see the deluge of venomous, derogatory replies to folks who criticize right-wing extremism. These occur in proportion and acrimony far beyond what one should expect from a genuine, civilized population.
@tribelaw@nytimes Bipartisan and consensus solutions are the healthy ones that endure. MAGAs in Congress now are arrogant, steamrolling over opportunities to listen, negotiate, respect, or compromise for any sort of consensus.
@TheRickWilson It is the stupid people who deny common sense of established disease prevention. I am waiting for the hand of Evolution to come down and eliminate the unfit.
@tribelaw If unqualified nominees, like Gabbard, Hegseth, and Gaetz, had integrity they would decline to be Trump puppets in important national offices. Regardless of what the Senate will do, it could spare them embarrassment and humiliation of blundering in front of the country.
@tribelaw Trump & Republicans won with promises about pocketbook concerns & immigrant invasion. Their policies often oppose popular interests – low unemployment, reproductive freedom, public education, foreign alliances, homebuyer & startup help...
Reality will be knocking on their doors.
@BarbMcQuade Trump has a strong base because of emotional kinship. They may both: Blame Government for their problems. Think they know more than they really do. Never have enough money. Think it is OK to break rules when they seem unfair. Feel jealous of power that others have (us/them).

@SpeakOutNow16@AshaRangappa_ The Presidential candidate choice shouldn't be hard, except HALF THE GROWNUPS HAVE LOST THEIR WITS. A little kid can tell the difference between a nice lady and a mean old man. Even a dog can tell which one to trust.
@AshaRangappa_ It's not much gamble to please Trump, though. He wishes for Russian meddling to help him. The Russians can expect that Trump will reward their loyalty. They are in cahoots.
