I don't know if Nick meant harm with his message. The problem is he DID harm with his message.

It's not an opinion. It's a parroted talking point based on lack of understanding that actively harms a very large group of people. And it shows a MASSIVE lack of empathy.

As someone who grew up in an era where you just dealt with it - it FUCKING SUCKS to be that kid in school. I WISH my world had as much empathy as 2023 has, even with the louder bigots we have now.

Look beyond yourself. No one is coming for your kids. People are trying to help the kids who need it.
