@Matt_Pinner Walked or rode a bike to school 1st through 6th grade. Walked a newspaper route 5th through 7th grade. Walked across town to the high school to take drivers education when I was 15 1/2. But I grew up down the street from the house Andy Griffith grew up in (no, really).
