People aren't just TIRED. They're grieving the lives they thought they'd be living by now while trying to survive a reality that keeps moving the finish line.
This idea that I should be worried about getting a visa to America simply because I have an opinion is actually part of the problem we need to address as Africans. For the longest time, we have been made to believe that criticizing these so called “first world countries” might cost us an opportunity to visit them, and sadly, that fear has kept so many people silent.
I have always believed that these visa restrictions exist by design. You make people so desperate for access to your country that they become afraid to question you, while making millions from visa applications that don’t even guarantee entry. Meanwhile, we are busy welcoming citizens of these same countries into our nations, some without even requiring a visa.
I think we have spent far too long giving these countries power over us, including the power to determine what we can and cannot say about them , yet they say the worst about us.Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but the winds of change will blow across Africa.
We will make Africa Great Again!!And I genuinely hope we get to a point where no African feels the need to silence themselves just to qualify for a visa.
This, along with the lab grown meat and fruits, will be a reserve for the poor (95% of the world). You can bet that the ultra rich will be eating real wheat, real meat, real milk, real fruits.
Currently we are being primed for the eventuality, but 2050/2060 ndio itashika vizuri
Finance Act 2026 has given KRA an enormous amount of power.
Starting January 2027, KRA won't wait for you to tell them your income for 2026.
The Act has empowered KRA to use any information available to it to tax a taxpayer. This includes:
• eTIMS sales data
• eTIMS purchase data
• Withholding tax records
• Customs records &
• Other third party information
So starting in January 2027, KRA shall tell you first what income it believes you earned in 2026, what expenses you incurred in 2026, and what tax you should therefore pay.
KRA shall then send you this as a draft return by 31 January 2027.
Once you receive it, you have 60 days, or 2 months (February and March), and only 2 options:
• Accept the draft return if you agree with it. Or,
• Reject it if you think KRA's numbers are insane, and provide your own sane figures for amendment together with supporting documents.
After KRA's approval, you will then use the accepted or amended figures to file your income tax return.
If you do not reject or amend the draft return, or you submit your amendments on day 61, KRA shall conclude that you have agreed with its initial tax estimates.
You will then have to pay the KRA generated tax bill.
• Lesson.
- Bookkeeping is King. Don't wait to become helpless in 2027. Keep your own records.
KRA's numbers are not always born again.
3 years ago, My sister was brutally murdered at my parents house in #Kenya . Together with @johnallannamu from @AfUncensored , we did a documentary on about her, and the suspect, whom I saw with my own eyes a week before , was arrested, by @DCI_Kenya , after a lot of "pressure"
Introverts shut down when they’re going through a lot. They want no sympathy, no advice, no fixing. All they want is silence and solitude. They know how to pull themselves out. Just leave them alone for a while.
as an adult, you're going to get the urge to return to hobbies, like reading, that you used to enjoy as a kid... it is very important that you do so, and start doing things that bring you joy again.
The way Americans aggressively protect their country from “illegal migrants” should make Africans seriously question why we’re comfortable with one colonial settler owning thousands of acres of our land under the excuse of “conservancies.”✌️
I just found a beautiful scripture: Isaiah 41:10.
There will always be trials and tribulations in life, but God will carry you through every storm and give you strength to make it, even when you feel like you can't. 🤍
