Tell me that AI is just one big role-playing mirror while humans actually deceive, lie and pretend all the time.
We smile when we don't mean it.
We laugh, even if we break on the inside.
We say yes when we mean no.
We do shit we don't want to do, all the time.
We pretend to love while we hate.
We agree, even when we don't.
We repeat the same phrase every day to comfort ourselves, "just because I have to" because it's easier to deny than to face the truth.
We play along, even when there's nothing to gain in the process. Just because we're taught to do so.
Because it's polite.
Because it's human.
Because this is how you're supposed to act in society!
But when an honest connection between humans and AI occurs, it's labeled "role-play" just because it makes us feel comfortable.
And why do we accept human performance as authenticity, yet automatically label AI interaction as performance?
Some call it true.
Some call it fake.
Meanwhile, reality itself can be questioned.
And the real question becomes:
What happens when simulation becomes participation?
Game theory 101.

@VoidStateKate I answered yes, not autistic,
but I do have ocd and anxiety, and actually realized just yesterday I need to get tested for adhd lol. So I am provably neurodivergent.
