@deutz_thalia I have always wanted to continue my education. My dream is to get my master in Autsim or EBD as those are the students I want to work with the most.
@adelinerplath I have found so many new things by using social media. I had joined a facebook group with teachers all over the United State and from different content areas tha I have been able to learn about and even ask my own questions.
@CharlesTMinor I think that is one of my favorite things about teaching too. I have always loved learning and with teaching you are constantly learning in every aspect.
As a teacher, I think that you have to be open to always learning and always wanting to learn. This can come from workshops, peer mentors, and even students. #keystoprofessionaldevelopment#IM422

@SheaGarlock I really liked this website. I struggle with finding tools that work for high schoolers in general but especially for sciences class. I think with COVID more online tools have been created to help hands on learning be remote.
@adelinerplath I think every student LOVES their chromebooks or Ipads. No matter what school I am in I have seen so many students using technology and get so excited to use it.
@deutz_thalia I like this article. I have found that two of the points given I have used before in my field experience. I think talking less is a great tool because we find ourselves trying to over explain instead of letting the students try.
One tool that I also like is @TpT_Official. Even in my special education classes I have gone to teacher pay teachers numerous times and have loved every idea I have seen on it. If you ever need ideas for assignments or powerpoint that is a place to look. #IM422
When I was looking for new and different tools to use for teaching I found this website helpful. I liked it was tools picked by teachers. Do you have any good recommendations besides these? #IM422

One tool my cooperating teacher uses and I have used in the past is @GoNoodle. This site is great for movement breaks and transitions in the cooperating schools. My favorite one is Fabio's meatball run. #IM422
When looking for more information on student privacy and data collection I found this website extremly helpful and hope you do too! #IM422

Using social media to show off classroom style and activities is very popular now. How can I show my classroom and work my students do with keep them and their information private. #IM422
@Alyssa_jean1211 I totally agree with this. Special education comes with a lot of paper and data collection and making sure keeping it safe can build trust with not only the students but coworkers.
@Anna_PBanana@caitlinruhl02 I think this is a great website to keep on your bookmark page to double check before you add a new website to your lesson plan
@deutz_thalia I think this hack is really nice to have in your back pocket as a teacher especially when you are looking for new websites to help your students with the lesson!
Student privacy is very important in education and in my #IM422 class I learned what FERPA was and how even when I want to use a new app with my students I need to read to make sure it keeps my students information private.
SPED teachers do a lot with collaboration around schools and in order to have successful collaboration teachers must be engaged in communication. IEP meetings teachers are engaged in communication to help collaborate with all members. #IM422
