Bittersweet day for me personally and for our program. For the past three years, I’ve had the privilege of coaching alongside my brother — something this profession rarely allows. Those years together are something I’ll always be grateful for. Matt poured everything he had into Bucknell Basketball and played a major role in helping restore this program to a Patriot League regular season championship level. Matt is a tremendous leader and one of the best teachers of the game I’ve been around. He makes people better every single day, and our players, staff, and program are all better because of his impact. He leaves @Bucknell_MBB in a far better place than when he arrived. This is an elite hire by @Ea1785 for so many reasons beyond what can fit on social media. I’m incredibly happy and excited for @coachmattgriff, Lexi, and Reece as they start this new chapter.
@EA1785_Athletic is getting a great Coach but more importantly, an incredible person. Let’s go EA!!
“I don’t want you to like me today…..I want you to love me in a couple years”
Just an incredible answer from @USFMBB@CoachBHodgson when I asked him about the relationship with his players & what it means to help these young guys on and off the court

Steve Donahue deserves credit for the job he's done this season at St. Joe's. Hawks moved to 19-10 with today's win at URI. Could finish in the Top 4 of the Atlantic for the first time since 2018.
Imagine telling these two, nine years ago while they were grinding in the G League, that they’d be heading to an NBA Western Conference Finals together one day.
Ahhhh, maybe a warning shot to the rest of Pennsylvania 6A basketball:
Roman Catholic of Philadelphia beat Central York tonight, 96-46, in second round game. Yes, by 50 pts.
To put that in perspective, Central York is defending state champ and was good again this year.
