Breaking news from Florin: the first ALC42E/Airo power car set appears to have been completed. The power car just needs some Phase 7 paint and it’ll be ready for delivery with the other Airo cars to Amtrak’s NEC!

Opinion: when this ALC42E and its Airo set are delivered to the East Coast for use on Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor, they should hold unveiling ceremonies at each of the major stops on Amtrak’s busiest route.

The state of Minnesota and the Twin Cities and their residents needs to take passenger rail more seriously. I understand that they have two Amtrak trains that run in and out of the state, but losing the Northstar because of low ridership is unacceptable.

@baseballisdead_ I mean, he's not wrong though. As far as I'm aware, every time a baseball player got punched, they didn't get hurt, and neither did the players who threw the punch(es). Ask Ryan and Ventura, Barrett and Pierzynski, Odor and Bautista, and Ramirez and Anderson if they got hurt.

I don't understand why Caltrain is going back to paper tickets. If they can modernize their rolling stock and become more environmentally friendly, they should be doing mobile ticketing as well.
