There are some #Pittsburgh sunrises that I never forget and this one from exactly 5 years ago today is one of them. I'm not sure what made this one so memorable, other than the fact that I slept through my alarm and almost missed it. Definitely up there on the favorites list.

Pretty nifty little sunrise over #Pittsburgh this morning, wasn't it? Every few minutes I said to myself, "Ok, THIS is as good as it's gonna get", but then it kept getting better. Vibrant color stretched across the sky and reflected in the river, creating just an incredible scene

What a sunrise over #Pittsburgh from the Duquesne Incline station today. This image is actually a composite of two separate ones: a whopping 4 minute exposure for the sky and landscape, and 1/40 second exposure for the incline. The combination made for an incredible view.
