My mum (crew) and stepdad (captain) + the rest of the QF1 crew together for an unexpected Xmas day photo in Baku, Azerbaijan. Happy that my stepdad made the call of safety over risk by diverting and landing safely, albeit inconvenient. Now on the way to #LHR.

@CowfoldSeagull I’m sure they had their reasons. It’s hard to pull a plane out of a well oiled system. They had to use a brand new a380 that wasn’t yet in service. Not to mention other airlines not wanting to cop the fees of jumping in to help. Glad they’re on the move now!
