Can’t stand seeing dog owners tug or pull their dog when their dog stops to sniff. The walk is for them, not you. Don’t get a dog if you can’t let them enjoy the limited world they get to experience!
The more attached you are to an idea, the less you are to see other ways to operate. Hold true to yourself AND have the humility to remain curious, coachable and open minded.
We are all so unique and come from different walks of life - different cultures, different upbringings, different ethnicities.. there’s so much to learn from one another and so many opportunities for us to expand our understanding and our empathy🫶🏼
I’ve naturally been programmed to see things from all sides - that’s part of who I am professionally and this has certainly transferred to my everyday life. I enjoy challenging assumptions and discussing ideologies that differ from mine. It’s what makes diversity, diversity.
It takes real openness to pause and consider that someone else’s experience or truth might look completely different from ours. The more we challenge ourselves to look beyond our first perspective, the more we expand our capacity for growth and connection.
