@FGaitho237 I agree. What is squeezing every drop of sweat we make is the high cost of living. Cost of essentials has gone up 4 times . So with the same income you can't even cover for basics you were easily buying some 2-3 years ago. One can barely pay school fees on time.

To our community this looks like a miracle. Public water flowing in a pipe is like drawing water from a rock fo us. Thanks to God for hearing our years of cry. To Kikuyu water company this is a huge milestone as we seek to connect homes to the water.

Great news! We saw a glimmer of hope last evening when Kikuyu Water Company finally released water along our new line. It’s a small step, but a sign that our efforts are making an impact.
We continue to push for a lasting solution, and we will not relent until our community gets the water we rightfully deserve. Let’s keep the faith and pray to God that this breakthrough turns into a full supply.

Herein lies the problem with Mount Kenya. They quickly attach to victimhood and emotional triggers.

Rigathi Gachagua has not even a single pit latrine to his name, so he’s just as trash as William Ruto if not worse.

But in Mount Kenya, the redundant generation of boomers conditioned them to take elections as an opportunity to settle scores as opposed to crafting a new socio-economic reality for themselves.

They vote-out politicians/political parties as opposed to electing a candidate who espouses their hopes and aspirations.

I also fell in this trap. In 2017 because @honkabogo had looted Kiambu County to its deathbed, we took to the polls specifically to dislodge him, not replace him.

And so shock on us when Ferdinand Waititu took the county to the dogs like literally. He was operating county coffees from his briefcase.

To the young majority, don’t fall into this trap the your hopeless parents and grandparents laid on you, meant to keep you stuck in an endless cycle of poverty.

Un-fuck yourselves from the stupidity and mental-impotence of Boomers and Gen X’s.
