Today, November 3rd, is Qubee Day. On this day in 1991, Qubee (the alphabet of Afan Oromo) was adopted as the official alphabet. Soon, Afan Oromo itself would become the official language for schools and govt in Oromia after being denied this official status for almost a century.

@YeyesusMisker The current Abiyot Tebaki for Ethiopianism is Abiy Ahmed (coincidentally, some even say Abiy's real name is Abiyot). Being Oromo and becoming Oromo are two different things. There were many Oromos, Tigrayans who killed for the anti-Oromo, anti-Tigaru Ethiopianism.
