And Finally for Sunday PM (D28), yours truly will try to explain Gunnar Blohm's analysis of MEG data showing how hand posture is integrated into extrinsic and intrinsic motor plans.
Looking forward to SFN in Chicago. In our first poster (Saturday PM, F60) we compare the kinematics of grasping vs. placing objects. Timing, velocity and accuracy were pretty similar, except for subtle differences in precision and interactions with location / orientation.
@J_D_Crawford Thank you so much for your support and guidance! Your mentorship has been invaluable throughout this journey. I'm grateful for the opportunity to work under your mentorship and look forward to continuing our research together.
@VSSMtg this afternoon, @gaellenl shows her work on "Order-Dependent Functional Brain Connectivity in a Cue-Separation Grasp Task", (poster 56.413, Pavilion). Spoiler alert: over time, multimodal sensory activity is integrated with the dorsal action network.
If you're attending #CNS2024, Gaelle, Veronica, Lina, and Jennifer will be presenting our work on multisensory cue integration for grasp, eye-head-hand coordination, and integration of egocentric and allocentric cues for reach. And I'm presenting a poster on time perception😳.
🎉 7 years of VISTA brilliance! Proud to be part of the journey from vision to application. Here's to more breakthroughs and fun celebrations ahead! 🚀👁️ #VISTA7yearcelebration#VisionScience
