Fifteen years makes for a nice run. I'm sure I'll check periodically on the status of my account, but for the most part, I'm posting over on the other social media site that sounds like it's related to yarn.
Obligatory "keep the lights on" post, 5 Sept 2024, 8:26pm ET. Glad to see someone has taken enough time away from his ketamine doses to keep this place sh*tty. Why I'm holding out hope for this platform is beyond me.
Obligatory "keep my account alive" post, 17 Oct 2023. I actually browsed content on here for a whopping FIVE WHOLE MINUTES. I'm assuming this knowledge will stiffen the nipples of an X employee with excitement.
Not willing to pay for Twitter Blue. Also not willing to shutter an account I've had for nearly 15 years. My attempt at reasonable compromise will be to remove the app from my phone & use sparingly on the computer. We'll see how this goes....TTFN.
Welcome to the obligatory "keep my account alive" post. First login in 34 days. Last time I was here there was a bird in the corner.
Nearly 15 years on this platform, down the drain. Thanks, Elmo.

A concise essay by @medhihasan, but in a nutshell: Coronavirus vaccines became available for all U.S. adults on 1 May 2021. Since that date, more than 58% of #Floridaโs total Covid deaths have come to pass.
Heyyyyyyy guess who just successfully logged into his Twitter account for the first time in over a month?!
Still not working on my phone. Wasn't using SMS to verify, used 3rd-party 2FA, suddenly wouldn't work. If this was "incentive" to sign up for TBlue, F right off.

Alex Jones lied to build his audience; was ordered to pay $1.4B.
Fox hosts lied to keep their audienceโand have to pay $780m.
Far-right America is so disconnected from reality that defamation suits are a tax their media pays to hold their attention.
