I went to Japan in October 2011. The tsunami happened in march and I had recently turned 18 and I had a strong synchronicity interpreting it as that the Christian God told me I was going to go. Then I went to a Bible school in June and it was run by charismatic evangelicals, that was very unknown to me and I was introduced to the idea that the Holy Spirit communicates with people and so then I told people that the God for sure told me I was going to Japan and the school was playing a mission trip for October but said Japan would likely not be an option but then in August the school leaders got the class together to announce the mission trips and they announced that there would be three different choices for the class to go separately and they had Japan as the option and the whole class got real charismatically superstitious because I was the only one saying that for three months straight. I have not revisited what it could have been because obviously the Holy Spirit and Yahweh are not real but idk what made me believe so strongly it was going to happen, if this was some kind of supernatural pneuma and not an actual god. It was a humanitarian outreach. Japan was really cool and I’ll never forget it

I haven’t intentionally tried lucid dreaming. The times I experienced sleep paralysis always seemed like something else was intentionally approaching me. A lot of my dreams seem to be me wondering around empty places. But sometimes I’ve had dreams where I was somebody else and I looked in the mirror and face looked similar to me but not a direct mirror of my face. There’s a dream location where I live in an apartment complex and the photos inside are a family and the guy wears a tie and stuff. I wear sweatpants and Hanes t shirt in real life

Fascinating. Talking about dreams is how I found your page way back last year when we were talking about dreams in Spaces. My dreams have locations that I’ve never seen in real life but they exist in my dreams. It’s not what I anticipate when I go to sleep, it just happens. A lot of these locations are overgrown, usually absent of people, sometimes post apocalyptic looking. If there are people, I will be explaining things to them or monologuing and my peripheral in my dreams only shows me the torso, shoulders and some of the arms of the people. Sometimes there will be a full formed in the distance person but it’s usually a negative experience or they can be seen moving fast or I’m some cases it will come at me fast and that will make me have sleep paralysis ( which hasn’t happened in a long time)

I really only know Bible stuff.

The Greeks also believed that the ��foreign” cult of Dionysus came from elsewhere (Asia Minor, Thrace, or Egypt) and feared that it would dissolve institutional boundaries but also the Greeks integrated the cult of Dionysus as the quintessence of Hellenism.
