@lillydancyger @Narratively When I was feeling small nearly invisible--after my mother attempted suicide and my brother's nervous breakdown--I dropped out of college and got a job at big and tall men's shop. I was/am also literally small and had to climb on stools to measure chest size and tie ties.
I have felt out of step with my (some) of my peers when my first book was published at 48 and I became a yoga teacher at 54 and opened a yoga studio at 56 and have zero plans to stop teaching yoga and/or writing.
Something different will resonate within each of us about this article.
