Very excited to announce the official opening of the Unwracked Podcast discord server.
For those of you who are fans of the podcast or fans of bodybuilding in general, this is the place you're going to want to be.
Kyle Wilkes, Andrew Berry, Chris Tuttle, and their associate coaches (myself included) will be in there interacting, answering questions, and providing additional content you won't get anywhere else.

Week 2: Vacuums Every Day
Already seeing noticeable improvements on my ability keep everything pulled in.
- Easier
- Stomach flatter when Iโm relaxed
Iโm pushing food right now and usually Iโd just accept a little stomach protrusion but not this time Satan.
Protocol: first two weeks
- high counter vacuums 10 sets 20 second holds
Next few weeks: โฆ
Funny story from the show
Iโm walking in to check in and this other guy is in front of me heading in.
After we go through the front door to the check in, he turns around and asks if I post on Twitter a lot ๐คฃ. i replied "kind of"
First time competitor who recognized me from my posts and actually reads my stuff. I thought it was all just bots on here. He is not active in the replies or posts himself, just lurks soaking up all the fitness X content.
He did ask me what I thought of @GaintrustMikey and @DeanTTraining and I told him to keep listening to whatever they say. These guys know their shit and if you apply their knowledge to your journey, you will go far.
This young man self coached through his prep, came in good shape and did great for his first show.
This was a surreal experience to say the least. You never know who out there watching and reading.
My top two interventions during a bulk to keep the gains lean and the look โtightโ
- fasted cardio (morning or post workout recommended)
- fasted morning vacuums
Notes on Concentric speed: How fast should you drive the contracted muscle.
As long as they are controlled and the contractions are really high quality, then you should do them as explosive as possible.
I was telling @PGC1a_RB yesterday because he was doing slowed concentrics because "that's where he felt tension the best." This is fine as long as you start to progress to more powerful contractions holding that same level of tension.
In other words, it's a good starting point but generally a great cue for all concentrics is imagining you have double the weight loaded up.
