Early this morning, 473 soft-shelled turtles were rescued from illegal possession near Motu Bridge by the alert staff of Motu Range, Malkangiri Forest Division. A Bolero vehicle used to transport the turtles has been seized.

6 individuals were arrested under Hindol Range, @DfoDhenkanal, in 4 separate wildlife crime cases. Offenses included electrocution attempt, hunting with country-made firearms, bait bombing, & wire snaring. All accused were forwarded to SDJM, Hindol.

A live #PangolinRescue by Bolangir Forest Division near Kusumkhal. Five persons were apprehended. Further investigation led to the recovery of pangolin scales from the residence of another suspect. All five accused were sent to judicial custody. #WildlifeJustice@ForestDeptt
