@TaylorLorenz@WIRED@cnet@techradar@verge There's a story here. See thread about @FellowProducts refusal to fix a $1.00 cheap, user replaceable part on their $400 Aiden coffeemaker, instead issuing a fimware "ignore" command, and their online cult-like fan bases response.
@symyn@malmesburyman@BulkingtonBooks I suppose you are correct, although Truman Capote, as I'm sure you know, coined the term "non-fiction novel" Mailer certainly expanded on it. It's time I read Franzen, I only know him as DFW's friend.
@malmesburyman@BulkingtonBooks Please read Mailer's Pulitzer winning The Executioner's Song. If times read is an indicator (at least 3), it's my absolute favorite. He's the only author I ever stood in line to meet, just to shake his hand. The decaffeinated voice he found in that book has seldom been matched.
@SerpicoDet Eye contact, and never give a dead fish handshake, right? That's what my father taught me. I've never asked anyone for a rt, but I've got my own investigation going now, detective. Consumer related, you could call me a crime victim. :) https://t.co/nfVjDYLNeh

Crowd cheers wildly with arms raised as waves crash around him
Turns and RUNS when massive wave barrels straight toward him
