At the annual ESMO Gynaecological Cancers Conference this week, we will present an efficacy analysis of our folate receptor alpha (FRα) -targeting antibody-drug conjugate by (FRα) expression level.
“We are highly encouraged by these data, which continue to demonstrate the differentiated profile of ZW191 and its potential to deliver meaningful clinical benefit across a broad population of patients with ovarian and endometrial cancers,” said Sabeen Mekan, M.D., Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of Zymeworks. “The response rate observed in FRα-positive ovarian cancer patients compares favorably with currently available therapies, while maintaining meaningful activity in patients with lower levels of FRα expression. Together these encouraging data on durability, progression-free survival, and manageable safety profile further strengthen our confidence in the program and reinforce the ability of our ADC platform to generate differentiated therapeutics.”

Today we're excited to announce a significant evolution in our long-term strategy, one that positions Zymeworks for a more durable, predictable, and value-generating future. Building on the positive Phase 3 data for Ziihera® and the continued advancement of pasritamig, we are transitioning from a biotech model to a royalty-driven organization supported by a productive internal R&D engine.
This approach allows us to optimize the value of our licensed products, expand a diversified portfolio of revenue-generating healthcare assets, and reinvest in differentiated innovation where we can make the greatest impact for patients.
This is an important moment for Zymeworks as we align our business to pursue sustainable growth, capital efficiency, and long-term shareholder value while delivering meaningful advances through our scientific platforms.
