We combined AI in the design of lipid nanoparticles (LNPs), decorated with biologically active small molecules on their surface, to deliver mRNA across the blood-brain barrier (BBB) and target the neurons. Wow! Team effort!!!

Today, I reached a key point in my tour: speaking at the 4th Young Israeli CRS meeting in @TelAvivUni. Being in Israel now holds special meaning for me. After the Hamas attack, I felt compelled to support Israel and speak against antisemitism. Meeting Israeli scientists and students in Bologna @CRSScience meeting made me realize they need support, especially under the strain of conflict.
