I mean Sligo beat Motherwell 3-0 a few years ago, Scottish football has way better stadiums and facilities but on the pitch is where the game is played. The old firm does all the heavy lifting in Europe for Scotland, Aberdeen lost 6-0 to AEK Athens last year and Rovers drew 1-1 a few weeks later.

I'd like to eventually see a 14 team PD, 12 FD and 20 Third tier clubs - have the PD play 26 games then split into top 7 and bottom 7, play a total 38 games and the bottom 3 go down. A lot less repetitive with playing the lower table sides and the better sides play against each other in the business end of the season.

@TomasiSantiago Out of the teams Derry had the potential of getting- that's probably the best they could have asked for over the likes of Ferencvaros, Qarabag and Dynamo Kyiv. They have a chance, Iceland have got 2 very bad draws so far which can help Ireland get over them in the rankings.

@OCowzer That's actually pretty good, Sofia and Sheriff were the two most favourable teams out of the 6, not gonna be easy but Derry have a chance, Pats pushed Sofia a few years ago with that 1-0 win away in Bulgaria.

@ShamrockRovers Avoided the Champions of Hungary and Bulgaria so that's good- Tre Fiori or Inter the best draws there, try avoid Sabah - the rest seem very bearable with Rovers Euro experience under their belt.
