Dory is a beautiful 16 month old female English Bull dog mix, her mum is new age and dad is olde English. Dory is very sweet and loving and available for a new home. She is use to kids over 10 years old and is very submissive of other dogs, she is very playful but respectful. A home with no cats is best as Dory likes to follow them around and previously cats have not liked this. She is amazing meeting new people and loves to be the star of the show. Dory is registered at the vets and had a full health check up, she is fit and healthy with no issues. She eats a mix of dry and wet food ( Anything Wainwrights usually mixed with raw along with salmon oil for her coat). Dory doesn’t like anything chicken as it can make her sick. At night she sleeps in her crate in the kitchen very peacefully. She also travels well in the car. Dory is very much loved by her whole family and needs a new home due to a change. She is a lovely dog and will make someone a great pet. She would be suited to a family with older kids. Dory is also chipped.

Sadly over the weekend Dora’s eye has begun to bulge.
It appears to be a dental abscess.
In an ideal world we would get a ct scan but time isn’t on Dora’s side so dr Sophie is going to go in for surgery tomorrow morning.
Estimate for dental and abscess surgery is £1250, if the eye has to come out then this will likely double 🥲
Again we need to ask for the support of our community to raise the funds. Whether that’s by donating or sharing our posts to find donors.
It’s just £1 to 1250 people. Payment links in pinned post ❤️❤️
Buns are currently only outside during the day but it’s so wonderful that they have this area!! And it’s all down to YOU and your support. Your donations mean that the bunnies get the best life possible ❤️❤️❤️
🇬🇧 The Princess Royal will officially open ‘The Queen Elizabeth II Garden’ on Tuesday, 21 April on what would have been Her Late Majesty’s 100th Birthday.
The new two‑acre space in The Regent’s Park has been created — by The Royal Parks in collaboration with HTA Design — as a tranquil, fully accessible place for reflection in the heart of London. The Garden will commemorate the life & service of Queen Elizabeth II featuring a wildlife‑supporting circular pond, a flower garden planted with species significant to Her Late Majesty, & a viewing platform offering panoramic views across the Royal Park.
Princess Anne will be welcomed by the Chair of The Royal Parks, Dr. Linda Yeuh, before viewing the Garden with Representatives from The Queen Elizabeth II Garden Project who’ll outline its design features & introduce members of the gardening team.
At the Water Tower, Blacksmith & King’s Foundation Alumnus Ian Thackray will explain the significance of the water feature, before the Princess is presented with a gilded metal flower crafted for the site.
The Princess Royal, together with the Mayor of London & Heritage Minister, will then join Representatives from The Royal Parks & The Queen Elizabeth II Garden Project at a Reception in the new space. Her Royal Highness will also unveil a plaque to mark the Garden’s official opening.
The Garden will be open to the public on 27 April & has been designed with climate‑resilient planting as well as a projected 184% net gain in biodiversity, showcasing sustainable horticulture.

So sorry to keep you all waiting!
Chip has made it through surgery. We have not long got home.
The mass was (I hope this is the right word) a Seroma from what appears to be a trauma. Her intestine was also ruptured 😢
Timing coincides with changing their environment so we are very sure she’s had an accident when running around with the group 😢
I don’t know what the procedure is called but dr Sophie has had to separate and rejoin the intestinal tract.
Chip is still in a critical state needing a higher level of treatment than I can give here. The absolute, most wonderful Sophie Jenkins @originvetclinic has taken Chip home with her, to her house so that she can personally provide that 24hr care.
I cannot express in words just how grateful we are to have so many wonderful people supporting us in saving rabbits. This community is truly magnificent, dr Sophie is beautiful soul, @Emzi_FitzG is a blessing as she has managed the rescue so we could be there with Chip.
Every single person that has liked, shared, donated or left a supportive comment is a wonderful human, and it’s an absolute honour to be in a community with you.
Dr Sophie will update when she can and I will post as soon as I know ❤️❤️
Today we gave Chip a chance. Thank you for seeing her life as having value. ❤️
The bunnies are running seriously low on toys!!
If you’d like to send them something please follow the link, use your own address and just put Carrot Cottage in the notes section at checkout and they will be sent straight here.
