The Princess views the development in progress, with completion expected in Spring 2028, & had the opportunity to hear how EACH continues to fundraise to support both the expansion & provision of vital day-to-day care & support for families.
The new facilities will help create additional opportunities for children & young people to play, explore, express themselves & connect with others, while providing families with restorative spaces where they can spend meaningful time together & find strength in a community that understands their journey.
🇬🇧 The Princess of Wales, as Patron of East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH), has arrived at The Treehouse Children’s Hospice in Ipswich to highlight the transformative impact of the care, compassion & connection that EACH provides to children with life-limiting conditions & their families.
The Princess will first visit the site of The Treehouse’s new expansion project, where construction is underway for a new hydrotherapy pool, wellbeing & therapies suite, larger care activity area, dedicated teenage space, an additional bedroom as well as an expanded kitchen & dining facilities.
EACH’s aim is to ensure the best possible quality of life for babies, children & young people. Families want their children to enjoy life, & EACH firmly believes that every young person, including those receiving hospice care, needs the same to thrive — friendship, fun, family time, activities & laughter.
