@rachelbaxendale@australian History will not be kind to politicians like Mark Butler who ignore the blindingly obvious, and dither while children continue to be irreparably harmed. Activists are experimenting on children and wilfully obfuscating the risks.
@peterboghossian It’s completely obvious that the women are aware of the logical inconsistencies in their arguments, but they cannot bring themselves to accept basic facts because they’re expressed by people they despise.
@DifficultNerd What’s worse is that there’s NO way she doesn’t know herself how bad she is. Imagine being that incompetent, and having to pretend otherwise every single day. Explains the manic joker laughing.
@mlw_es It's as if age striation is not a thing. As with everything in this pandemic its assumed that people are too stupid to assess their personal risk and decide accordingly. We get broad mandates instead of risk-based guidance. Such infantilization of the population.
@erin_social311@ranjitrao1 I'm not so concerned about the ill-effects of COVID on him (despite him having a mild congenital heart defect), but more so how 14 days of unnecessary iso will affect him when test-to-stay has been shown to be as effective in preventing spread.
@ranjitrao1 So what is the plan when some children inevitably refuse or are otherwise non-compliant? Is the school obligated to send them home or wrangle them into submission?
This is an unfair burden on young children and schools and could lead to children missing further F2F education
@GregDore2 There is a spectrum of intervention bias at play. We're just unlucky in Victoria that we have a health department and CHO that clearly feel comfortable at one extreme end.
