The thing that's so beautiful about CC that haters fail to understand stand is, she doesn't just win (or lose) a game. She'll leave you with a memory that will last longer than the result ever will. That's how sporting superstars are created.
At this point, Fever fans are not imagining things. The optics around Caitlin Clark are TERRIBLE.
You’ve got videos of coaches grabbing her by the arm mid-game, assistants barking at her on the sidelines, constant public criticism after games, and meanwhile Stephanie White can individually praise everybody else on the roster but suddenly turns into “we/us/the group” whenever it’s time to acknowledge Caitlin 😭
People keep asking why the fanbase is frustrated? THIS is why.
Name another franchise in professional sports where the generational superstar carrying the league’s visibility gets treated like the problem while being asked to completely change her game to fit mediocre roster construction and a slow offense nobody even pays to watch… all while other players keep making the exact same mistakes over and over with zero real accountability or demand to evolve, which is why fans notice the double standard so easily 😭.
The Fever hit the lottery with Caitlin Clark and somehow turned the entire experience into tension, weird vibes, public nitpicking, and “go stand in the corner off-ball” boring basketball.
We see every clip. Every press conference. Every passive-aggressive comment. Every double standard. And yes, we speak with our wallets too.
Y’all are not slick. Caitlin deserves better than this 😭
