Gama Alpha is going to space. SpaceX has announced the launch of the Falcon 9 rocket containing our satellite from Cap Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida, scheduled for Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at 9:56am ET (14:56 GMT, 15:56 Paris).

When Gama spacecrafts will be hundreds of millions of km away from Earth, sailing through the solar system, we depend on reliable code to achieve mission objectives.
This is the heartbeat of our spacecraft, and it just needs to work.
#rustlang to space!
Are We In Space Yet? @Gamaspace is sending #rustlang into space!
Stay tuned for an expected launch (literally, people!) in December.
We’re excited to be working with Gama's team. Thanks @andrewnutter for the ongoing adventure.

Gama is official! Louis de Gouyon Matignon, @andrewnutter, @tiboel and a fantastic team of engineers are building solar sails. Launching our first mission with @SpaceX in October.
Join the journey to sail through our solar system.
