This is very true, I had an experience some time ago. I was done with my shift for the day and headed out for lunch at my favourite gobɛ joint and this young lady approached and held my arm.

My reflexes almost gave her out that I didn’t know her from anywhere because the approach was just sudden and she came from behind. She held my arm tightly and started talking to me like I was supposed to know who she was, posed like an old friend I was struggling to remember.

I just felt something wasn’t right but I acted along while I tried to remember who she might be and she wasn’t willing to tell me who she is that I’m supposed to remember.

I continued to act along with the “Where have you been after all these years” kinda convos. I showed her where I work and she told me she’s on her way to the same place so let me just grab my lunch and head back with her.

She was beautiful so it wasn’t all that annoying after all.

We got inside the hospital and she apologised for the awkward moments she had to put me through but she noticed a particular man had been following her for a while and she panicked. She saw me in my lab coat and just felt safe to come to me. She tried to describe that suspicious man who crossed to the other side of the street when she came to me but I didn’t notice anyone like that though.

She stayed for a while, had a nice convo, exchanged contacts and the rest was history.
