The Voicechat update is NOW LIVE!
Sessions can now include voicechat. When creating a session, choose a lobby size (4, 6, 8, 12, 16, or 20 seats). The lobby activates when the host joins within 15 minutes before or after the session going live.
Voice runs in your browser. No downloads, no accounts, no Discord. Click Join and start talking. Works on desktop and mobile.
Players without a nickname are assigned a random name in the lobby for easy callouts. Your name stays the same if you leave and rejoin, but changes between sessions.
Per-user volume controls (0 to 200%), individual mute, and a +6dB boost for quiet speakers. Master volume slider and kill switch for instant silence.
Player cards show real-time spectrograms and waveforms so you can see who's talking.
Hosts can kick players from the lobby (also blocks them from commenting and voting in that session) and lock the lobby to prevent new joins.
Push-to-talk is available in Settings. Hold a key to unmute, release to mute. Browser-only, does not work while a game is focused.
Input and output device selection on the Voice page. Includes a mic test with loopback. Your choices persist across sessions.
Your voice connection stays active while you navigate the site. A compact bar follows you with full controls.
A countdown timer shows how long the lobby has left. Turns red at 15 minutes remaining. Auto-disconnects when time runs out.

The Discussion Board Update is NOW LIVE!
Here's what's new:
Discuss tab: a full discussion forum with 8 boards (Announcements, Servers, Guides, Smuggler's Den, LFG, Games, General, and Feedback). Create threads, post comments, and talk about games without leaving GameDate.
Imageboard features including global post numbers, greentext, >>quote links with hover previews, cross-thread quoting, code blocks, spoilers, bold/italic, and dice rolls.
Smuggler's Den: a board for pulling useful info out of Discord servers and making it publicly accessible. Server IPs, mods, patches, fan translations, connection guides, anything buried in a Discord channel that should be easy to find. Tagged by type with SP/MP filtering.
Smuggler's Bounty: like the In Demand tab but for community content. Vote on which games need their Discord server info, guides, or resources brought over to the Den. Separate Multiplayer and Singleplayer bounty lists, 5 votes per week.
Guide system with community-maintained game guides, edit suggestions (PR-style: suggest changes, OP accepts/dismisses), suggestion comments, and helpful/quality tag reactions.
Tag reactions on Guides, Den, and Servers threads: Helpful, Well Written, Outdated, Inaccurate, and Low Effort. Colored tag pills with live counters.
Linked threads on sessions. Session creators can link relevant Guides, Den, and Servers threads to their game sessions. Community members can also suggest threads, with voting to surface the best ones.
Identity system: sign in with Email (passwordless magic link), Anonymous Key (crypto wallet-style, no email required), Steam, or Discord. 4 visibility modes let you choose how much to reveal, from fully anonymous to showing your name and persistent ID.
Word and region filters now work across both Sessions and Discuss. Filter threads by comments, game names, subject/body, or all at once.
Privacy policy rewritten, rules page updated, and various bug fixes and performance improvements.
@hiddeninlegend Hey there. The session draft now saves when the window is closed, so if you click outside or cancel you can reopen it and everything will still be there. As for the timezone setting, that's a bit out of scope for now but I'll keep it in mind.
