This year, Banzi Balloons took us to space! The balloon lander took over 9,000 balloons to create and raised $1,399 for our charity partners @indyreads and @gamepathways.
And don't worry, we have video of the destruction, stay tuned!

Last night at Cardhalla, you helped raise $4,809.14 for Indy Reads and Game Pathways.
Don't miss out on the balloon destruction that will also go to these amazing charities!

We created a magazine for #GenCon!
Welcome to Turn Order Magazine. Turn Order is a free community magazine completely funded by participating independent publishers (tagged in photo).
You'll be able to pick up your free copy at any participating publisher booth during Gen Con!
@PhantomMeeple If you're willing to work some hours as a greeter at the Game Pathways booth, we can cover your badge costs and pay you $25/hour. That should get you the rest of the way there!

Indie #boardgame publishers unite! The latest companies to support @GamePathways are @RoxleyGames, @LuckyDuckGames, @ThunderworksGam, and @ArcaneWonders.
Their donations support scholarships, grants, and learning programs for game design students from under-represented groups!
@kovraystudios Most of the publishers who sponsor Game Pathways are willing to donate copies to schools who make those requests, especially in lower-income or underserved areas. Here's a list of all the publishers who support our quest to share this hobby with students:

@elizhargrave At @GamePathways, we think this problem (and the closely correlated problem of minority representation in tabletop industry jobs) needs a two-pronged solution:
1⃣ Publisher outreach to correct hiring & marketing biases.
2⃣ Student outreach to promote game industry career paths.
I would like to offer some data, not as criticism of the SdJ org, but as a criticism of the PIPELINE. Something is wrong with a system that leads to these pictures: 🧵
1. Nominees for the SdJ since 1999: 5 women, 103 men (& no other gender ID AFAIK). No women in the last 2 yrs.
