- Play the off meta hero that you think is fun. If you enjoy the deck you're playing, you'll internally want to get better at it.
- Play around with cards that aren't traditionally played. You might find some secret tech that other people haven't found! (I'm going through this for Garen right now!)
- Understand why each of the cards are in your deck. Synergy is super important. Just because you see a list playing a card, doesn't mean that you will know WHY they are playing that card. If you understand the niche scenarios that really make each card good, then you'll have a much better understanding of your deck as a whole.
- Sideboards should be designed for what YOU will play against most often. If your local scene is 60% Irelia, but larger events are not, then you should adjust your sideboard to fight more Irelia.
- HAVE. FUN.
Do not beat yourself up to the point where you are so focused on winning that you aren't having fun.
Rough draft of the direction I want to take Annie in set three, we still have a lot of reveals, so nothing's set in stone.
Jhin really fixes every single problem with the deck single-handedly,
Its only up from here, but I don't know how anyone beats this.
Thrilled to be joining the @PlayRiftbound team as a contractor Game Designer! The game is super fun, the team is incredibly talented, and the community is already amazing. I've loved playtesting it in the past and I'm really excited to now officially be part of the team!
Hey Riftbounders! TL;DR (more in the thread - 1/11)
1: We're discussing card bans in the near future based on overly-dominant play patterns, but none to announce today, nor an expected date for bans.
2: Expect a separate rules update on 3/30 for the new mechanics being introduced in our next Set, Unleashed, as well as a few clarities around penalties, judge rewind, edge cases, and more.

Here's my Lucian deck that won Best-of at #RQVegas
This deck was refreshing to play with limited interaction and simple game plan.
Score early points, avoid combats, end the game when they least expect it.
Final score 10-3. 1 Loss was to my teammate who also won Best-of Ahri! Most matches ended with 20-30 minutes to spare. This was mentally relaxing with the timer in between rounds.
Happy to answer any questions. Will do a Youtube breakdown later on this week, you guys can follow me there and look out for that!
Shoutout to all the Lucian enjoyers that paved the way and the Secret Sauce Discord for such a successful and unbelievable weekend at Vegas!
See all you amazing people soon. 🇹🇹

The monetary EV for playing events has ALWAYS been incredibly upside down.
If you wanted to maximize EV, go work an overtime shift that weekend.
If you want +Life EV, hang out with friends and play cool card games.
Don't let money beat you to the point you dont enjoy life.
If you take more than 5 seconds to choose from Stacked Deck, PLEASE just stop talking about balance and focus on yourself. Leave it to us professionals.
