As we work toward implementing Open Decklists at Regional Championship Europe, the decklist submission deadline is Wednesday, November 4 at 11:59 PM CET.

The submission process will remain the same as what competitors have experienced at previous Regionals, with submissions opening later this week.

We’re sharing this information early to give everyone plenty of time to prepare!

@AliEldrazi We're always looking at stuff and reassessing, but I think right now is a bit premature for these conclusions, we haven't truly seen how the meta settled down yet

@believer_tt @MomSkyRB Every deck that previously played stacked deck is going to get a little bit weaker, but the hope is that their core patterns remain unchanged and these decks are all viable if they were viable before, just a bit less consistent across the board

@dkwut2puthere Because we think Stacked Deck is a problem outside of Kennen as well. It enables a lot of things that are OK in moderation to happen more than is healthy

To add some context to the Stacked Deck ban:
We feel that Stacked Deck was deceptively contributing to many of the frustrating patterns that currently exist with Chaos decks (which are also, in the aggregate, stronger than we’d like). (1/x)

@NovaMTG1 We did consider other parts, but felt they were mostly OK in moderation, and the common issue was Stacked Deck making them happen too frequently
