my first year in London (back in 2017) I looked up for d&d meetups on meetupdotcom, walked in without even checking if there was an available party waiting for me, and joined the table with a free spot. Mind you that was the first time I was doing d&d in more than 15 years and it was a pretty uncomfortable thing to do as introvert

I ended up meeting Rob (@GamesIn1tiative) who I'm currently running my 4th campaign with. And the group I'm running it with subsequently became the most wholesome group chat I am currently at.

So yeah loneliness is a choice, get out there, take some risks, (just don't be a toxic dickhead), it's that simple
