Lumping together Tokon, 2XKO, Strive, Avatar and Granblue as the mahvel arcsys games is wild, Arcsys games dont even really feel like MvC at all.
Also calling Fatal Fury an SF6 inspired game is giving serious "Guy who has only seen The Boss Baby" vibes
I'm sorry, but we need more variety.
4 (arguably 5) games with a similar Marvel-inspired, Arc sys-ish, chain combo, air dasher vibe...only one (strugglin) 3D game...SF6...and a SF6 inspired game.
We need VF crossroads. Bring back SC6.
Need more new games that AREN'T "Mahvel".
@Arkry_ This isnt just about length, its about variety, FF6 has over twice as many party members as any main line game of the 21st century, FF5 has two over worlds, even the ones that have one overworld have tona of different biomes and cities. In modern game development this is huge
The recent statements from Hamaguchi, as well as everyone that gets asked about potential ffVI or FFIX rrmakes being hesitant makes me somewhat hopefull that FF managed to dodge this bullet.
Sorry for the RE bros tho
Capcom wants to release a new Resident Evil game every year 🧟
The plan is to alternate between brand-new mainline entries and remakes to keep the franchise on a yearly release schedule.
Their next announced remake is Resident Evil Veronica in 2027. If the strategy continues, another Resident Evil title could arrive in 2028.
Yasuhiro Anpo, director of the Resident Evil series, said:
“Since the release of Resident Evil 7 biohazard, we’ve been able to release a new Resident Evil title almost every year.”
mojo. What if the changes end up having a negative effect and finally kills the momentum that it managed to carry since launch? As long as SF6 throw loop edition keeps selling, theres no reason to look at making these changes
I think theres 2 reasons why capcom hasnt adressed these issues:
1 - The system mechanics are all heavily interconnected and that means chnages to stuff like DR or throws can have consequences elsewhere. It changes a lot of interactions and affects each character diferently.
2 - SF6 is a huge success, both at launch and through the years. At launch the community even got toxic if you criticized the game, if you pointed out the roster was small and mostly made of sf2 characters you'd get yelled at. Now capcom is probably afraid of messing up the games
This is deeply emotional for us.🥹
Scarlet Deer Inn, our dark medieval folk tale with physical embroidery, is OUT NOW on Steam!
Thank you so much to everyone who has supported us on this journey.
Retweets are hugely appreciated! ❤️
Funniest thing about this is all the aynergy bullshit, Blade went from a cool obscure character to being in every comic crossover and every video game and now its all for nothing
Marvel boss Kevin Feige gets brutally honest about the studio's failed #Blade reboot: “I am feeling like a gigantic loser and failure that we didn’t get off the ground with Mahershala Ali.”
Feige previously explained how the prolonged delays on “Blade” were a symptom of Marvel’s “over-expansion” into Disney+ streaming content where “for the very first time ever, quantity trumped quality... We didn’t want to simply just put a leather outfit on him and have him start killing vampires. It had to be unique. It fell into the time when we started pulling back and saying, ‘Only accept insanely great.’ And it wasn’t ‘insanely great’ at the time. We didn’t feel like, as we often do, you can have a good script and make it a great script through production. We didn’t feel confident that we could do that on ‘Blade,’ and we didn’t want to do that to Mahershala and didn’t want to do that to us.”

Circana spreading anti-physical notions again? We are shocked. Shocked, we tell you.
How much is "more than 100.000"? What if we count, let's say, all that went over 50k or 25k? Would not sound as dooming as just 7 then, probably? And how does the US fit into the global narrative around physical games, when there are games like Rhythm Heaven Groove that sold half a million copies in two weeks in Japan alone?
Always interesting which developments certain analysts choose to present. E.g., did anybody report that revenue from physical games went up for Sony last year?
Misleading headline:
>Doesn't take into account second hand market
>Leaves out games not realeased this year
>Big AAA releases tend to aim for a summer or holiday release (AC just released, Halo is in a week, later in the year Fifa, CoD, etc..)
Smells like cherry picked data
Only 7 games across all PlayStation platforms have sold more than 100K physical copies this year in the US

Australia is planning some of the world's toughest AI regulations
• Water usage will be limited
• AI data centers will be required to become net producers of energy
• AI companies can't train on Australian creators' work without their permission
• Proposals expected to be introduced as legislation in 2027
“Australian writers, musicians, artists and journalists must retain ownership and control of their work. Our laws will spell that out, plain as day ... anything less is theft"
@XMeh_Meh_MehX Bought the switch purely for fire emblem three houses, was thinking of buying a switch 2 for fortunes weave but the constant price hikes and the game being 80 bucks is turning me away unless we get an amazing sale on black friday or somethjng
@MutsuAnjin Maradona's treatment is really weird, you'd think that a player thats involved in so many cheating scandals that range from out right breaking the rules to bribing and doping would have his name and reputation forever tarnished but we still treat him as the GOAT for some reason
@BIudika@miravrl Cancan jails since at least tag2 (not sure about t5/t6), this hasnt stopped Asuka from being low to mid tier in most versions and the one tome she was strong (t8 s2) it wasnt because of cancan. If you block a i14, -8 on block move and let your opponent do it again, thats on you
